DESCRIPTION :

Contains optical screwdriver, 2 metric & 2 American Standard hinge screws, magnifier, screw starter and case. Plus the Wipe 'N Clear anti-fog cloth for cleaning glass or plastic lenses.

Wipe 'N Clear Cloth Cleaning Directions: 

Some plastic lenses may be scratched by surface grit during cleaning. To minimize this possibility, the following cleaning method is suggested. First, Brush the lens lightly with Wipe 'N Clear cloth or holder under tap water to remove grit particles, then wipe in the normal fashion. 

Repair Kit Instructions: 

1. Most frames made in the USA require 5 or 7 barrel hinge screws. Most imported frames use 1.4 mm or 1.6 mm metric hinge screws. There is 1 of each in the magnifier handle. 

2. Select the screw diameter that appears to be the correct size. Insert screwdriver tip into screw starter and hinge screw into other end as shown below. 

3. Make sure the leaves of the hinge are properly engaged as shown below. Insert screw and tighten. DO NOT FORCE. If screw does not tighten easily, then try a different screw. 

4. If the enclosed hinge screws do not fit your glasses, see your local optician. She/He will be happy to provide you with extra screws which you can store in the magnifier handle. Screwdriver tip may be sharpened with a file or a whetstone if it becomes dull.
